Over winter break, AIAS UMass sent 20 members across the country to Seattle, Washington for the annual national AIAS conference: FORUM. This year the group was very diverse with a range of school year and studio levels, but all shared a similar interest in furthering leadership, design, and service. At FORUM, members attended workshops, lectures from professionals about innovative topics of resiliency, sustainability, and historic preservation (to name a few), and networked with other architecture students from around the country. On top of that, they were able to explore a new city and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
