Master of Design: Historic Preservation
The UMass historic preservation program in the Department of Architecture offers a unique opportunity for advanced study in historic preservation at this major public university, with the benefits of the first public Master of Architecture program in New England, a leading Public History program, and significant faculty in areas of material science, landscape architecture, and building construction technology.
Evidence of design background, historic preservation policy knowledge, and/or expertise in the building trades is required for admission.
Credits may be transferable to alternate advanced degree programs as well as AIA Mandatory Continuing Education.
