George Guida
Co-founder, ArchiTAD and xFigura. Researcher and AI Teaching Fellow, Harvard Graduate School of Design.
George Guida is the co-founder of ArchiTAG LLP, a design practice that synthesizes design and technology, and XFigura, a startup making 3D generative AI accessible in architecture. He is also a researcher at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a leading figure in Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, advancing the field through practice, research, and academia.
Guida has served as an AI teaching fellow in the Harvard MDE program and as a visiting lecturer at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he taught courses on prototyping with code and AI + Architecture. His current research focuses on AI-aided participatory design, human-machine interfaces, and performance-driven sustainable architecture.
He received an MArch II with commendation from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, an RIBA Part 2 from the Architectural Association, and an RIBA Part 1 from Oxford Brookes University. Previously, he worked as a researcher at the MIT Media Lab and in leading firms in Italy, Kuwait, and at Foster + Partners in London, where he was a LEED AP BD+C certified ARB Architect. At Foster + Partners, he contributed to projects such as Lusail Towers in Qatar, Colechurch House in the UK, and the Jabal Omar Development in Saudi Arabia.
Guida has lectured extensively, including at Harvard, Northeastern University, ETH, and RISD. He has given talks and keynote lectures on AI + Architecture at NCARB, monday.com, DigitalFUTURES, CAADRIA, SIGraDi, Share-Architects Forum among others. His published papers cover topics such as 3D generative AI, immersive mixed reality, and sustainable facade systems.
