Hellen Awino

Awino joined the faculty in the Department of Architecture in the fall of 2023. She teaches design studios and courses focused on building performance. Awino holds a Master of Science in Architectural Studies and Building Technology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BArch from University of Texas Austin. Her research addresses the intersection of energy use in the built environment and the effects on underserved communities.
