Visitors
Please join us on Arbor Day, an annual event usually in April. Arbor Day includes tree climbing demonstrations, seedling giveways and a tree tour. See Arbor Day & Events.
UMass Amherst also offers group tours to high schools, community-based organizations and community colleges that work with students at the 9th-grade level and above. See Undergraduate Admissions Campus Tours.
Educators and Researchers
If you would like to engage with a member of the arboretum committee on a research or educational project or idea, whether you are affiliated with the university or not, please use our Contact Form. Your request will be reviewed by a member of the arboretum committee who will reply to you.
School Teachers
One of our local schools brings their kindergarten students to the Utility Arboretum on campus. The children come every season. They draw what they see, learn how trees change and have fun.

Line Workers & Power Companies
Power companies, cities, counties, nurseries, landowners and managers, landscape contractors may contact us to request a consultation, demonstration or training exercise at the Eversource/UMass Utility Arboretum.
