Brady Yacek is a Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA #2337) and an International Society of Arboriculture Arborist (ISA certification #NE-6672A). He is a vital member of the arboretum committee. Brady is responsible for evaluating the health of over 8,000 trees on campus and ensuring they are well cared for. It is also Brady's responsibility to oversee new acquisitions of plant material for class tree plantings and general additions to the arboretum. Brady's research focus is Environmental Science, Forestry and Horticulture.

Frank A. Waugh Arboretum

The Waugh Arboretum is accredited at the highest level of accreditation, Level IV, by the ArbNet Accreditation Program since 2018 and is recognized as a Tree Campus in Higher Education by the Arbor Day Foundation since 2014.
