Amanda Walker Johnson, anthropology, is the 2023 winner of the UMass ADVANCE Faculty Peer Mentor Award for SBS. This award recognizes her outstanding leadership and special contributions in developing infrastructure in her department that led to effective group mentoring approaches to anti-racist theory and practice.
