Jason Kamilar, anthropology, received $85,548 in supplemental funding from the National Science Foundation for Expanding K-12 Resources for AI Education. The funding will develop curriculum using primates and other mammals as the basis for understanding biological anthropology through existing AI applications like iNaturalist and Seek, while developing students' AI literacy, scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning skills.
