Out graduate students have had great success in receiving awards, being interviewed, and sharing good things prior to the semester, more good news to come.
Anne Marie Wort was awarded a University Fieldwork Grant for her dissertation project Embodied Climate: A Bioarchaeological and Paleoclimatic Investigation of Dietary Resilience and Physiological Stress in Medieval Scandinavia (1000–1350 CE)."
Mandy Fuchs was awarded an American Association of Biological Anthropologists, Pollitzer Travel Award Competition, for the essay “Why Biological Anthropology Matters More Than Ever.”
