Biography
I hold a B.A. in Linguistics and Literature, a B.A. in Anthropology, and an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Costa Rica. My master's research focused on cognitive cultural models and ideological discourses that shape how public narratives reason about older people and aging. Currently, I am interested in understanding how older adults engage with new technologies through language—exploring the cognitive strategies they employ, as well as the challenges and forms of support they encounter along their media literacy journey.
