Research Interests:

Diego's interests lie in primate ecology, primate diet and nutrition, feeding behaviors, and community ecology. Diego's most recent work was in Thailand, where he studied how gibbons disperse seeds in a dry dipterocarp forest.

Biography:

Diego Stokes-Malavé is a doctoral student in Dr. Kamilar's Comparative Primatology Lab. Diego received his MS in Evolution, Ecology, & Behavior (EEB) from the University at Buffalo in 2023 and a BS in Environmental Science from Binghamton University in 2020.
