Biography
The skills learned from anthropology that I incorporated into my career are the intersection of language and embodiment, medical anthropology theory, and method.
Author and interdisciplinary scholar specializing in Latinx literature, medical anthropology, narrative medicine, and creative writing. My research explores the intersections of language, medicine, literature, and embodiment, with a focus on decolonial knowledges. I engage with the philosophical thought of Latinx, Indigenous, and Afro-diasporic cultures across the hemisphere, highlighting literature, orality, and performance in activism and migrant literature.
