Biography: 

Caroline's PhD project explores family experiences of the heritable genetic disorder, fragile X syndrome (FXS) caused by a mutation on the X chromosome, called the FMR1 mutation. Her research has two main approaches: 1) ethnographic engagement with families with FXS in two different countries, the United States and France, and 2) digital ethnography of FXS and the discourse around disability in both French and English.
