Biography:

My work involves critical investigations into the violence and limits of patriarchal capitalist modernity, and especially efforts to uncover, cultivate, and organize around hidden, suppressed, and emerging projects that advance other selves and other worlds. I live with my daughter in Easthampton, Massachusetts and work with community organizations and networks across the state in formal and informal ways: I am currently a board member of Worcester Roots, a board member of Wellspring Cooperatives in Springfield, on the worker cooperative ring of Common Share food cooperative, and a member of the organizing committee of the Massachusetts Solidarity Economy Network (MASEN). I am currently Associate Editor of the journal Rethinking Marxism and a member of the Community Economies Collective.
