George Hamilton, of Hillside Meadows Ag Consulting and previously with University of New Hampshire Extension, will lead us through the calibration of a boom sprayer, teaching us along the way. We will experience how speed, pressure, nozzles, and boom height interact, and will test to see if we’ve achieved the desired coverage. You’ll then use those concepts yourselves as you calibrate a backpack sprayer. A light dinner will follow our sprayer calibration practice.
