Interested in better understanding your soil? At this workshop, OASIS on Ballou farm and UMass Urban Ag Extension will discuss how the farm’s evolution over the past decade has shaped its soils. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as we share tips and tricks for assessing and stewarding your urban soils. Dinner will be provided. We will also have on-site soil lead testing available. If you would like to get your soil tested for lead, please follow the instructions for collecting a soil sample HERE.
