Show Me Nutrition

The University of Massachusetts Amherst Extension Nutrition Education Program (NEP) provides interactive nutrition education lessons for youth in grades Pre-K through eight. We utilize the University of Missouri’s evidence-based curriculum, Show Me Nutrition (SMN), which promotes healthy eating, physical activity, positive body image, and food safety principles.

SMN is taught by NEP, a SNAP Ed implementing agency in schools where at least 50% of the students are eligible for the National School Lunch Program. If you are interested in having a NEP nutrition educator deliver SMN at your school, please contact a UMass NEP Extension office closest to you.
