The four seasons are defined by the dates of equinoxes and solstices, example dates are based on the 2021 calendar year:

• Spring begins on the spring equinox (March 20)
• Summer begins on the summer solstice (June 20)
• Fall begins on the fall equinox (September 22)
• Winter begins on the winter solstice (December 21)
