Tomat nan Massachusetts

Yo keyi tomat depi nan mwa septanm pou rive nan mwa novanm. Lè ou manje fwi ak legim ki pouse nan jaden fèmye lokal yo, ou jwenn yo gen pi bon gou ak eleman nitrisyon–epi sa sipòte ekonnomi lokal la tou. Genyen plis pase 4 000 diferan varyete tomat, dapre gwosè yo, fòm yo, ak koulè yo. Avèk tout jan ki genyen pou manje yo avèk plezi, nan repa nòmal ak nan ti goute, ou pa bezwen sezi wè yo se youn nan legim ki pi popilè nan Etazini!

 

Konsèy pou tomat                            

  • Chwazi tomat ki fèm, ki gen bèl koulè, ak bèl po, epi ki byen plen. Pa pran tomat ki gen mak, ki mou, ki fann, oswa ki domaje.    
  • Kite tomat yo nan menm tanperati ak rès kay la pou yo vin mi. Depi yo mi, konsève tomat yo nan yon kote fre (55 - 58 degre F).
  • Pou tomat yo rete bon pou manje, mete yo nan frijidè depi yo koupe oswa kwit.

 

Eleman nitrisyon                            

Tomat gen anpil vitamin C, vitamin A, ak potasyòm. Tomat gen anpil likopèn, ki se yon antioksidan ki kapab redui danje pou moun genyen kèk nan kansè yo, epi ki kapab kenbe kè moun an sante, epi ki kapab ede sistèm iminitè a rete an sante.
