Pòm nan Massachusetts

Yo keyi pòm depi nan mwatye mwa jiyè pou rive nan mwa oktòb. Yo se pi bon danre pou konsève nan New England. Gen anpil plantasyon kote yo mete pòm nan depo ki gen "atmosfè kontwole", ki kenbe yo fèm, avèk menm gou yo te genyen lè yo te keyi yo. Genyen plis pase 120 varyete pòm yo fè pouse nan New England (Nouvèl Angletè). Pòm ki vin mi pi ta pandan sezon an, tankou Red Delicious, Braeburn, ak Crispin, kapab konsève pi lontan. Sa pran anviwon 36 pòm pou bay 1 galon sid.

 

Konsèy sou pòm                            

  • Chèche pòm ki fèm, epi ki pa gen kote ki fè mak, ni ki vin mou.
  • Konsève pòm yo nan tanperati nòmal kay la pandan jiska 7 jou. Si ou mete yo nan frijidè, pòm yo ka kenbe pou jiska 3 mwa. Pa konsève pòm yo nan yon sache ki fèmen.
  • Pou anpeche tranch pòm ki koupe pran yon koulè fonse, mete yo nan menm bokal avèk sitwon oswa ji sitwon.

 

Eleman nitrisyon                            

Pòm se yon fwi ki dous epi ki kwoustiyan nan bouch ou; li gen anpil vitamin C, potasyòm, ak seliloz. Yon ti pòm genyen prèske menm valè avèk yon tas fwi.

 

Plezi nan manje pòm                        

Kit yo dous, kit yo si, moun manje pòm yo nòmalman san kwit, tankou yon ti manje pou pase nan bouch. Gou sikre ki nan pòm fè yo bon pou mete nan salad ak nan sandwich. Yo se yon bon engredyan tou, pou ajoute nan manje k ap kwit nan fou. Yo ajoute imidite, valè nitritif, epi natirèlman bon gou!
