STATEWIDE RESOURCES

Free School Breakfast and Free School Lunch

Free school meals will continue through the 2022-2023 school year. There will be no cost to families for any student to receive school lunch for schools participating in the National School Lunch Program. There is no cost for breakfast or a snack where they are available.
 

Healthy Incentives Program 

Massachusetts residents can use their HIP benefits at summer and winter farmers' markets. Spend your SNAP dollars on farm-fresh fruits and vegetables at participating Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) retailers and have the amount of your purchase instantly added back to your EBT card! To learn more about HIP benefits visit their website at https://www.mass.gov/hip.

You may be eligible for the Massachusetts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides monthly food benefits to individuals and families who qualify.

The Massachusetts Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program 

WIC is a free nutrition program that provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare, and other services to Massachusetts families who qualify.
Keeping with social distancing requirements, WIC programs and services are accessible by phone. If you have provided your local program with your email address and/or cell phone number, you will receive notifications about important updates. You can check your eligibility and apply for WIC online.

WIC & SNAP both offer monthly food benefits that help you feed your family and meet your nutrition goals! Whether you are receiving benefits from one or both programs, there are a few things you can do to make sure you are making the most of your benefits the next time you shop for groceries. Project Bread

Learn about food assistance resources available to the residents of Massachusetts. Visit ProjectBread.org or call Project Bread's Food Source Hotline at 1-800-645-8333. This number is toll-free and confidential. Hotline Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am - 7pm,  Saturday: 10am - 2pm.

 

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a program that offers well-balanced meals to adults through home delivery or congregated dining sites. Meals on Wheels is run by senior nutrition agencies located throughout Massachusetts. To find the agency closest to you, call 1-800-243-4636. If you need home-delivered meals, staff will make an appointment for a home-delivered meal assessment.
