The MA 4-H Animal Science and UMass Veterinary Science programs hosted two sessions of the Explore Vet Science Program at UMass Hadley Farm for youth ages 13–18 interested in veterinary careers. Held on June 14–15 and June 16–17, the program featured hands-on veterinary activities such as animal examinations, diagnostic skills, and discussions on pathways to veterinary school. Participants received meals, housing, and materials, and attended a virtual orientation on June 9, with financial assistance made available.
