Congratulations to Alarm Robotics on winning the “IMPACT Award on March 22 at URI District FIRST Event.
Promoting STEM and mentoring younger youth has been a large part of their club as they “Put their Hands to Larger Service”. The Massachusetts 4-H Program congratulates them on being recognized for their outstanding leadership in winning FIRST’s highest award.
ALARM Robotics conducted 40 Engineering in a Nutshell workshops over the past 3 years reaching 870 participants in 20 towns. Their robot demonstrations reached over 10K participants over the past 3 years through 20 events. Collectively they have put in over 2000 hours volunteering in the community and promoting STEM education. Their focus is to bring technology education to areas that desperately need it -such as low resource neighborhoods, STEM deserts, for folks with language and other barriers.
