The UMass 4-H Program hosted its first 4-H Family STEM Day on the Mt Ida campus on Saturday October 25th supported by the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation through a grant from #MathWorks. Special thanks to the Ashland Innovation 4-H Club of Middlesex County and Alarm Robotics 4-H Club of Norfolk County who supported the planning and implementation of the day including leading multiple workshops. Thanks also to the volunteers who were part of our new STEM Advisory and the 4-H Staff that came out to help. It was a great day. The robot demonstration and Roket launch were highlights of the day along with eating in the dining hall. The day was open not only to 4-H'ers, but to those interested in learning about the 4-H program and families were able to connect and meet the youth and leaders and start the enrollment process.
