The Massachusetts 4-H STEM Advisory is made up of 4-H Members, 4-H Volunteers and staff whose mission is to expand access to STEM programming while providing leadership opportunities. In July of 2025 a handful of interested youth and adults came together to discuss 4-H STEM opportunities and plan a new program 4-H Family STEM Day.
The inaugural 4-H Family STEM Day was held in October of 2025 and Fall nominations were accepted for the NEW 4-H STEM Advisory. The group has worked hard this past year and along with STEM Day the group supported the STEAM Festival, led a track for Explore UMass on Micro-bits, provided hands-on STEM at multiple fairs along with workshops and stem programs in their clubs and locally.
Our next 4-H Family STEM Day is coming up on November 7th and the group has stepped up and it is real youth to youth program. Hands-on STEM activities for youth by youth.
9:30am-3:30pm at the UMass Charles River Campus in Newton MA
Open to 4-H'ers and those interested in learning what 4-H has to offer.
$20 for 4-H'ers and $40 for non-4-H'ers
