4-H Ambassadors teamed up with 4-H volunteer leaders, parents and Massachusetts 4-H Foundation volunteers to visit their local Representatives and Senators. 4-H members spoke to them about some current issues in agriculture as well as the great things they are doing in the 4-H program. After the morning session at the State House the group moved to the UMass Club in Boston where they had lunch with their local Representative or Senator. Following lunch the Representatives and Senators participated in a panel discussion, facilitated by 4-H Ambassadors Lily Raposa and Charlie McMahon. Panel members were Representative Jay Barrows, Representative Josh Cutler, Representative Kim Ferguson, Senator Vinny DeMacedo, Representative James Murphy and Representative Paul Tucker.
