The Ruby Morris Scholarship honors 4-H youth who have participated in Big E 4-H Programs. The scholarship award is given to high school seniors towards a 2- or 4-year college program or a technical degree. The 4-H member must currently be a senior in high school, or a freshman in college, and they must have attended ESE at least once in their 4-H career. All applications and support materials must be received by mail, or e-mail, by August 15 of the contest year. For Massachusetts, this scholarship is awarded on even numbered year.

- Letter from applicant detailing qualifications for scholarship, including:
- Massachusetts 4-H Big E teams Age: Years in the 4-H Program:
- Intention to continue education beyond high school, including area of study and possible location
- Demonstrated leadership as a Massachusetts 4-H member at the local, state, or regional level.
- Copy of applicant’s high school transcript or equivalent.
