Join youth from across Massachusetts and New England for hands-on workshops designed to build animal science knowledge and show skills. Participants will learn from experienced volunteers, educators, and industry professionals while preparing for fairs, contests, and other 4-H events. These workshops are being held in place of our Animal Science Academy for this year.

Dairy Cattle Workshop

There will be no Working Steer Workshop this year.
Registration opens April 1, 2026. Youth and Adults must register. Payment: Please pay by cash or check at the event. Checks should be made out to “UMass 4-H.” Youth who are not enrolled in MA 4-H should select "state office" as their county when completing the registration form.
