Crack Open the World of Science with the 4-H Embryology Project!
Get ready for an egg-citing adventure in science, teamwork, and discovery! The 4-H Embryology Project is a hands-on learning experience offered to schools across Massachusetts, designed to spark curiosity and teach students the incredible journey of
life—one egg at a time.
Over the course of four weeks, students will explore the fascinating development of baby chicks, from egg to hatchling. But it’s more than just science—they’ll learn responsibility by caring for eggs in incubators and newly hatched chicks in brooders, all while building skills in teamwork and observation.
In the spring , there will be two separate four-week hatch sessions, giving more classrooms the chance to take part in this unforgettable learning experience.
Let your students witness the wonder of life—one peep at a time!
