Weed Identification

The UMass Extension's Weed Identification Guide is a definitive picture identification guide designed to aid in the management of our most common weed species. The guide features over 2,200 images of over 300 weed species found in the Northeast region of the United States. Written descriptions provide detailed information on plant characteristics including life cycle, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds and fruit.
