UMass Extension's Weed Herbarium is a definitive picture identification guide designed to aid in the management of our most common weed species. The Herbarium features over 2200 images of over 300 weed species found in the Northeast region. Written descriptions provide detailed information on plant characteristics including life cycle, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds and fruit. The plant index can be sorted by common name, scientific name, or plant family name.
