The UMass Extension Fruit Team is pleased to announce the return of the Lunch Bunch Zoom Series, a recurring virtual discussion focused on timely pest management and horticultural topics for tree fruit and small fruit growers. This informal Zoom series serves as a companion to the Fruit Team’s weekly newsletter, Healthy Fruit, and provides an opportunity to discuss current field conditions, emerging pest issues, and seasonal management decisions in real time.
Each session will focus on what growers should be thinking about right now in the orchard and berry patch, including insect and disease updates, weather-related concerns, cultural practices, and management reminders. The format is discussion-based and designed to allow time for questions and conversation with Extension specialists and other growers.
The Lunch Bunch series is intended to be a practical, in-season check-in to help growers connect the information in Healthy Fruit with on-farm decisions throughout the growing season.
