Students in the veterinary and animal science program help care for the UMass flock of sheep and participate in shearing and skirting the fleeces. Proceeds from the blankets help support animal science student activities and the livestock program.
The gray-and-white plaid blankets are available in several sizes, including king, queen, full, long throw and lap throw. Quantities are limited.
Some skeins of double ply yarn in grey and natural white are also available.
