We are pleased to announce two winners for this year's Shirley Graham Du Bois Award, which recognizes the top senior project in Afro-American Studies:  

Indy Davis, for her thesis, "Guarding the Borders of Freedom: The Legal Guardianship of Free People of Color in the Nineteenth-Century South"

Sofia Meadows-Muriel, for their thesis, "The Appeal for an Accessible Future"
