Professor Steven Tracy appointed to Distinguished Overseas Professor

A Distinguished Overseas Professor is a title and honor the Chinese Ministry of Education give to a foreign professor with internationally-recognized academic achievement and influence in a particular field or discipline. A Distinguished Overseas Professor is selected from among many applicants through a strict procedure, including application of a qualified Chinese university, recommendations from 3 prestigious peer scholars from China and other countries, and peer review of the applicant's academic performance. A fund will be granted to cover the professor's international travel, accommodation, and pay for work in China. Tracy will be associated with Central China Normal University during his tenure from 2017-2022.
