How do I become a minor in Afro-American Studies?
A minor in Afro-American Studies requires that a student take five (5) courses or more in the Du Bois Department. Any department-based course not taken as an independent study counts towards the minor requirement. Credits earned in any regular courses taught in the other Five College Africana Studies/Black Studies departments count toward the minor requirement as well.
How to Declare
Please fill out the Intake Form for Minors to declare the Minor in Afro-American Studies. For any questions about the minor or declaration process, contact Tricia Loveland at @email.
