Nichola Metzger

Nichola Metzger received her Masters of Arts in African American and African Diaspora Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelors degree from Smith College in Africana Studies, where she was the recipient of a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship. Her research interests concern Black ecologies, in particular themes of contamination, enmeshment and containment evidenced in 19th century U.S. cemeteries.
