Land Use Request

Use the appropriate link (internal or external user) below to complete a land use request.



Please submit an outdoor land use request at least ten (10) business days prior to your event. This amount of lead-time is required for successful event preparation that includes: scheduling, readiness, preventive measures, and permits and approvals. If you submit this form in less than 10 business days prior to your event's start date, we will make every attempt to process it. You will receive a notice of approval or rejection of your land use request by email. If we need more information, we will contact you.

Internal Land Use Requests

This link is for users with login privileges with the UMass Amherst NetID.

To request space on the UMass Amherst Campus, a Land Use Request must be filled out and approved prior to using or advertising/marketing an event using that space.  This website allows internal UMass users the ability to complete a Land Use Request.

This link is for users that are outside of UMass Amherst and do not have access to the UMass Amherst network or have a NetID.
