A&F Services during COVID-19 outbreak

A&F departments are working hard to maintain business continuity and services during the COVID-19 epidemic. Please refer to the following information for a list of continuing services, critical contacts, and other instructions. IT Support

Desktop and IT Infrastructure Support (Desktop Support, Server Management, Network Access, vpn, Firewall, etc.)

Call (413) 545-1956 for remote desktop and systems support 8:00am to 5:00pm weekdays or email with contact information and details about your issue. There will be no onsite support or computer moves at this time. For emergency on call services (for approved 24/7 applications only), dial (413) 545-1956, option 1 after hours to reach the on-call staff.

Enterprise Application Support (Summit, Finance, HR Direct, BuyWays, UM Plan, Tririga, eBuilder, Kronos, GIS) 

Call (413) 545-2119 for support and leave a voicemail. Tickets will be created automatically and triaged by AFIT staff who will be monitoring requests 8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays. Users should expect a varied wait time for a response depending on the number of tickets coming in.

Auxiliary Enterprises Application Support 

Call (413) 545-1956 for support and leave a voicemail. Tickets will be created automatically and triaged by Auxiliary IT staff who will be monitoring requests 8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays. Users should expect a varied wait time for a response depending on the number of tickets coming in. Tickets can also still be submitted via email using On Call support will be available for Micros and RoomMaster applications when there is an outage affecting an entire location. On-Call staff will come to campus as needed to address these issues.

Facilities and Campus Services

  • The 24/7 Facilities Solutions Center is open! Call (413) 545-6401 for facilities emergencies including lockouts and enter non-emergency services requests online. (Submit an Online Service Request)

  • Physical Plant staff continue to work on campus, and custodial staff have implemented an increased-frequency cleaning campaign of facilities around campus.

  • Campus Planning and Design & Construction Management staff are working remotely with limited onsite presence for project oversight. Third party design and construction projects are continuing with enhanced job site safety protocols.

Parking and Transportation

  • PVTA bus service is continuing on a reduced schedule. (Reduced Bus Schedule

  • All field trips have been suspended until further notice, but limited meet-and-greet services are still available.

  • UMass Fleet Services are available to address state vehicle needs.

Mail, Package, and OPSCAN Services

Mail & Distribution Services will temporarily suspend mail and package pick-up and delivery to campus buildings.

  • USPS and campus mail - Arrange for pick up and drop off at 120 Tillson Farm Road from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM weekdays.

  • UPS and FEDEX packages - Arrange for pick up and drop off at Mail’s Physical Plant loading dock at 360 Campus Center Way from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM weekdays. Call (413) 545-3313 to make an appointment for package delivery or with any questions. If the delivery is not retrieved in two weeks, it will be returned to sender.

  • Call (413) 577-9500 or email with any issues or for any service needs with special circumstances.

Office of the Bursar

All in person business and services have been suspended until further notice.

  • Students and families may contact the Bursar by email at or call (413) 545-2368 from 9:00am to 4:00pm weekdays.

  • All vendor checks will be mailed directly and not available for pick up from the Bursar’s Office.

  • All check requests must be sent by email to

  • The teller area will be open for department deposit drop off from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Deposits should be placed in the drop box for processing. Departments will also be able to pick up their empty bags at this time.

Budget Office

The Budget Office will be providing remote support. Staff contacts and reference materials for approved campus fees, campus budgets, fringe and administrative overhead rates, pay period schedules, and training materials can all be found on the Budget Office website. UCard Services

  • Customer Support is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm via email only at

  • Card Production is suspended until further notice. Temporary meal cards are provided by the Meal Plan Office. Door access cards are provided by Residential Life. Physical Plant can also provide access via the Watch Tour.

  • Customers can continue to make Debit Plan deposits online at the Debit Plan Site, or via cash deposit at the Value Plus kiosk located in the Campus Center. Payroll deduction and department card deposits are being processed as normal.
