Marketing Internship, Piti Theatre Company (Stipend)

Piti Theatre Company is an award-winning international troupe founded in 2004 by American playwright/actor Jonathan Mirin and Swiss choreographer, dancer and visual artist Godeliève Richard. Piti is based in Shelburne Falls, MA, and Les Ponts-de-Martel, Switzerland. Piti (pronounced "pea-tea") is an ancient Indian (Pali) word translatable as joy or rapture. Piti creates original performances and community-building events that accelerate the local transformation towards joy, sustainability and justice. The company produces two festivals annually - SYRUP: One Sweet Performing Arts Festival and The Great Greenfield DinoFest. Students may be eligible for payment through their Work-Study program, or for credit through their college or university.

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: The Piti Theatre Company Marketing Internship offers growth opportunities for entrepreneurial self-starters with an interest in gaining hands-on experience by joining a small administrative team. Flexible scheduling and telecommuting options are available. Sense of humor a plus. Learn more about Piti and their internship program.

Marketing interns can gain experience with:

  • Festival promotion (Fall and Winter interns);
  • direct sales;
  • social media campaigns;
  • web/print design;
  • grassroots campaign strategies;
  • working with databases;
  • developing marketing strategies.

PERIOD OF INTERNSHIP/EMPLOYMENT: Fall, Winter and Summer

PAY TYPE: Paid (stipend)

OPPORTUNITY TYPE: Internship

JOB STATUS: Part time (4 – 12 hours per week)

LOCATION: Remote.
