If you are wondering, “How do I get connected with a UMass/Five College intern?” and “How do I become a great internship provider?” then this evening info session is for you!

The UMass Amherst Arts Extension Service (AES), a national arts service organization located within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, will host How to Get an Intern: An Info Session for Artists, Arts-Based Businesses, and Non-Profits as part of our Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative. Artists and creative business owners will receive tips and guidance on designing great internship opportunities for UMass and Five College students. The workshop will address labor law compliance and best practices for making the most of your intern's time. Join us on Wednesday, May 1st 6:00 – 8:00 pm at A.P.E. Gallery, 126 Main Street, Northampton, MA.

In addition to the information provided in the session, AES will broadcast arts internship opportunities provided by session participants to arts and culture students and the UMass student body.
