ABOUT SPRINGFIELD MUSEUMS (springfieldmuseums.org)
The Springfield Museums is home to a rich, diverse, and eclectic collection of objects from Art, History, and Science. This campus is currently home to the Springfield Science Museum, George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts, and the Wood Museum of Springfield History, as well as the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden. In summer of 2017, Springfield Museums will be opening a fifth museum: the highly-anticipated Amazing World of Dr. Seuss. Recently selected as a Smithsonian affiliate, the Springfield Museums is able to offer a unique and interdisciplinary experience to all of its visitors.
