Arts Fundraising and Development Internship, Primary Stages, Remote
Primary Stages is dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and sharing the art of playwriting. We operate on the strongly held belief that the future of American theater relies on nurturing playwrights and giving them the support they need to fully realize their vision. Since our founding in 1984, we have produced more than 135 new plays. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or are just joining us on our journey, ours is a passionate community of artists, students, and patrons. This is your Off-Broadway Home.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: Due to COVID-19, we are offering 1 remote internship position. This intern will work closely with our Marketing and Development staff as we produce a Virtual Fall Season.
DEVELOPMENT - Interns learn about all aspects of the fundraising process including prospect research, donor cultivation, proposal writing, and stewardship. Tasks include assisting with event planning, reviewing daily and weekly publications for prospects, providing ticketing assistance to patrons, writing acknowledgment letters, and other donor care projects as they arise.
