UMass football, band and homecoming concert

Homecoming is this weekend, and I couldn't be more excited! Here is a quick list of things to do this weekend. Go Minutemen!

1. Friday: Block Party at Old Chapel! There will be food and live music! Throw on some maroon and grab your friends to get into the UMass spirit!

2. Saturday:  Watch the UMass Minutemen take on the Liberty Flames! It's the last football game of the season at McGuirk, so be sure to go to the game to cheer them on. Grab a hot dog (or clam chowder at the Newman Center tent) at the tailgate before!

3. Saturday: Before the game, run the annual UMass 5K or go out and cheer on the runners!

4. Saturday Night: UMass Amherst Symphony Orchestra Homecoming Concert! Listen to a great orchestra perform  Antonin Dvořák’s epic Symphony #9, “From the New World."

I was very unsure what I wanted to do, but I always had an interest in architecture, so when I applied to UMass I also applied to the architecture program. I ended up being accepted to the program along with sixty other incoming students.
