Business (Isenberg School of Management)

Transfer students applying during their first semester of college should have:

Finance/Operations & Information Management

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • 4 years of high school math with a grade of B or higher in pre-calculus and college calculus in-progress

Accounting, Business, Isenberg, Management & Marketing

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • 4 years of high school math with a grade of B or higher in pre-calculus

Sport Management

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • 4 years of high school math with a grade of B or higher in pre-calculus or calculus

Transfer students applying during their second semester of college should have:

Finance/Operations & Information Management

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • 4 years of high school math with a grade of B or higher in pre-calculus; and
  • 3.2 cumulative college GPA; and
  • Calculus and economics completed or in-progress with a grade of B- or higher

Accounting, Business, Isenberg, Management & Marketing

  • 3.2 cumulative college GPA; and
  • Economics or financial accounting completed or in-progress. (Accounting majors should have strong grades in accounting courses)

Sport Management

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • 4 years of high school math; B or better in pre-calculus/calculus; and
  • 3.0 cumulative college GPA

Sophomore or junior year transfer:

Finance/Operations & Information Management

  • 3.2 college GPA each semester; and
  • College calculus completed or in-progress with a  grade of B- or higher; and
  • *Sophomore: 2 additional predictor courses with a grade of B- or higher
  • *Junior: 3 additional predictor courses with a grade of B- or higher

Accounting, Business, Isenberg, Management & Marketing

  • 3.2 cumulative college GPA; and
  • College level math completed or in-progress; and
  • *Sophomores: 2 additional predictor courses (Accounting majors should have strong grades in accounting courses)
  • *Juniors: 3 additional predictor courses with a grade of B- or higher (Accounting majors should have strong grades in accounting courses).

*Predictor Courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomic, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting.

Sport Management

  • 3.0 cumulative college GPA; and
  • A grade of a B- or higher in Financial Accounting; and
  • A grade of a B- or higher in microeconomics or macroeconomics; and
  • Pre-calculus/calculus/finite math or statistics completed or in progress

Computer Science

Transfer students applying during their first year of college should have:

  • Very strong high school grades; and
  • Engineering calculus and data structures with grades of B+ or higher.

Sophomore and junior year transfers:

  • Engineering calculus and data structures with grades of B+ or higher.

Engineering

Transfer students applying during their first semester of college:

  • Very strong high school grades;
  • Precalculus (or a higher level math), chemistry, and physics during high school; and
  • Engineering calculus I in-progress or with a grade of C or higher.

Transfer students applying during their second semester of college:

  • Requirements listed above;
  • A cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher;
  • Engineering calculus II in-progress or with a grade of C or higher; and
  • Engineering chemistry or physics.

Sophomore and junior year transfer:

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and the following pre-requisites with grades of C or higher:
    • Engineering calculus I;
    • Engineering calculus II; and
    • Engineering chemistry or physics

Informatics

A well-rounded, strong academic record, including college-level math, java programming and/or data structures (if applying in second year).
