Hello hello, it’s great to see you here! My name is Frantz Lamarre, I am a junior at UMass Amherst studying political science as a transfer student. This is my first year on campus after the pandemic, meaning if you yourself are an incoming first-year, or also a transfer student, we’re in this together. It is likely that I am going through the same experiences as whoever is taking the time to read this, and share a similar bewilderment and awe at all that the UMass Amherst campus has to offer.  I’m a person with a strong curiosity, meaning that I’ve made it a mission of mine to discover everything here on campus. Here at the Admissions Office, much of my content (as of now) is focused around transfer students and first-years, and helping them acclimatize to on campus living as well as showcase much of what the university presents.
