Study Abroad

Each year, over 700 UMass Amherst students participate in the more than 70 campus-sponsored programs on every continent but Antarctica. Through study abroad, you can pursue your academic interests, learn a foreign language, and experience life in a different culture. You may choose from such countries as Australia, China, Colombia, Egypt, Germany, India, Ireland, Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, or the United Kingdom. Adventurous students are encouraged to explore options in regions less commonly traveled by U.S. undergraduates.

The place to start your exploration is the International Programs Office.
