Accessible Transportation at UMass Amherst
- Accessible Van Services: provides free on-call and reserved transportation to students, staff, and faculty with both temporary and permanent disabilities, both on and off campus
- Bus Services: UMass Transit operates Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) buses on and around the UMass Amherst campus, all of which are ADA wheelchair accessible and equipped with ramps and restraints for anyone with a wheelchair/mobility device. - PVTA Paratransit Service: for individuals with disabilities that prevent them from riding the fixed route bus service, PVTA also provides a shared-ride, door-to-door van transportation
- Reserved Accessible Parking: provides ADA reserved accessible parking for customers with state-issued disabled placards or license plates, as well as temporary Proximity Parking
