Training accelerates research translation by equipping UMass Amherst researchers to acquire knowledge, skills, and experiences that are essential ingredients for research translation beyond the laboratory and beyond the campus.

ART Accelerating Research Translation

Translational Impact Canvas Toolkit and Portfolio

This program is designed to help faculty from any disciplinary area efficiently pursue extramural funding from traditional and non-traditional sources, even in the absence of a specific request for proposals. At the core of this initiative is the Translational Impact Canvas, a structured toolkit and capacity-building program designed to help researchers and creators conceptualize, organize, and communicate the key elements of a project, with an emphasis on potential for real-world impact. The program empowers participants to efficiently and effectively engage a range of potential sponsors and partners. Participants will also be invited to serve as ART Ambassadors, mentoring colleagues and fostering a culture of translational research and creative activities on campus.
