Collaborating with these external contributors, the Accelerating Research Translation at UMass team will be able to accelerate the translation of its research into real-world impact, ultimately leading to increased economic growth, job creation, and societal benefit in Western Massachusetts. The partnerships with these external organizations will also enable UMass Amherst to develop and strengthen its network of connections to industry partners, positioning the university as a leader in translational research and innovation and an economic development engine in its region and beyond.
